We encourage you to become a member of the Railroad Museum of Long Island. Your membership will help the Museum further its mission of preserving Long Island's railroad history. Dues money is used for the restoration of the Museum's collection, the acquisition of new artifacts, and for meeting the general operating expenses of the Museum. The Railroad Museum of Long Island offers several membership classes. Voting privileges are awarded on the basis of membership class. The membership fee depends upon the class of membership. There are also corporate memberships available.
Membership classes are as follows:
• Regular membership with voting privileges - $50
• Senior membership (over 62) with voting privileges - $30
• Junior membership (under 18) with no voting privileges- $25
• Corporate membership - $150.
Dues pay for one year of membership from August 1st to July 31st. Membership includes a subscription to the Museum newsletter, and qualification to receive some special discounts on items available from the Museum gift shop.
